Edition Spielwiese is a German publisher based in Berlin, born in 2016 as an extension of the Spielwiese board game café, which opened in 2006. The company made its mark with MicroMacro: Crime City, an investigation game where you solve crimes with a magnifying glass on a huge illustrated city map, which won the prestigious 2021 Spiel des Jahres. Its catalogue covers a variety of genres and levels, from expert games to more family-friendly titles. Edition Spielwiese stands for a simple idea, written into its motto: games designed for shared fun, accessible and original.
