In this strategy game for 2 players, you'll create a team and combine the abilities of unique champions to defeat the opposing Leader!
To win, either position two of your champions adjacent to your opponent’s Leader or skillfully maneuver to fully surround them.
Mechanism:
Players alternate turns until the end of the game.
In ACTION PHASE, players choose one action for each of their current champions: move to an adjacent empty space OR use an action ability if they have one.
After a champion’s action, the game ends IMMEDIATELY if a Leader is CAPTURED (two enemy champions adjacent) or SURROUNDED (all spaces adjacent occupied by champions, either enemies or allies).
During the RECRUITMENT PHASE, the player chooses one of the three available champion cards and adds it to their side of the board.
Once players have 5 champion cards (your Leader and four allies), skip the recruitment phase for the remainder of the game.
The gist of the game is combining champion abilities and maneuver them cleverly to find a plan to victory while reacting and countering your opponent's moves on the board!
